Used For:

  • Treats eye pain and inflammation after cataract surgery

  • Helps prevent and reduce post-operative swelling (macular edema)

  • A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in eye drop form

  • Reduces production of prostaglandins (inflammation-causing chemicals) in the eye

  • May also be used for other inflammatory eye conditions as prescribed

Side Effects:

  • Eye irritation or redness

  • Temporary blurred vision after use

  • Increased sensitivity to light

  • Rare: headache, dry eyes, or feeling of something in the eye

  • Very rare: allergic reaction or delayed healing of the eye

Precaution:

  • For external ophthalmic use only

  • Not recommended for use while wearing contact lenses

  • Use with caution in individuals with a history of bleeding disorders or corneal issues

  • Avoid using other NSAID eye drops at the same time unless prescribed

  • Use with medical supervision if pregnant, breastfeeding, or after eye surgery
