Used For:

  • Hyperprolactinemia: Reduces elevated prolactin levels, which can lead to menstrual problems, infertility, or lactation disorders.
  • Pituitary Adenomas: Used to shrink prolactin-secreting tumors (prolactinomas) of the pituitary gland.
  • Parkinson’s Disease (Off-label): Sometimes used in combination with other medications to manage symptoms.

Side Effects:
