Used For:

Brintellix (vortioxetine) 10mg tablets are used to treat major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults. It helps alleviate symptoms such as sadness, loss of interest in activities, fatigue, and feelings of worthlessness by balancing neurotransmitters in the brain, particularly serotonin.

Side Effects:

Common side effects of Brintellix 10mg may include:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Constipation
  • Dizziness
  • Dry mouth
  • Abnormal dreams

Less common but more serious side effects may include:

  • Serotonin syndrome (symptoms like agitation, hallucinations, fever, sweating, shivering, and rapid heartbeat)

  • Hyponatremia (low sodium levels)
