Used For:

  • Brimodine Eye Drops are used for the reduction of intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. The active ingredient, brimonidine tartrate, helps to lower the pressure inside the eye, which can prevent damage to the optic nerve and loss of vision.

Side Effects:

  • Common side effects may include:

    • Temporary stinging or burning sensation after application

Precautions:

  • Contact lenses should be removed before application and can be reinserted 15 minutes after using the eye drops.

  • Store the eye drops at room temperature away from light and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
  • Be cautious when driving or operating machinery as these drops may cause temporary blurred vision or dizziness.
