Used For:

• Prednisolone: A steroid used to treat inflammation in conditions like allergic reactions, autoimmune diseases, and skin disorders. It can also treat eye inflammation.

• Sulfacetamide: An antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in the eyes, like conjunctivitis (pink eye) and blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids).

• When combined, this medication can treat eye infections with inflammation (e.g., bacterial conjunctivitis with inflammation).

• Prednisolone reduces the inflammatory response, while Sulfacetamide helps control the bacterial infection.

Side Effects:

• Prednisolone:

  • Increased intraocular pressure (glaucoma)

  • Cataract formation (long-term use)

• Sulfacetamide:
