Used For:

• Control and prevention of seizures (epilepsy)

• Partial-onset seizures

• Myoclonic seizures (sudden muscle jerks)

• Tonic-clonic (grand mal) seizures

Side Effects:

• Drowsiness or fatigue

• Dizziness or weakness

• Headache

• Irritability or mood changes

• Loss of appetite

• Nasal congestion or cough

• Rare but serious: depression, suicidal thoughts, severe allergic reaction, or coordination problems
