Used For:

Azipos (Azithromycin) is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, including:

• Respiratory Infections – Pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis
• Ear, Nose, & Throat Infections – Tonsillitis, pharyngitis
• Skin & Soft Tissue Infections
• Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) – Chlamydia, gonorrhea
• Typhoid Fever
• Traveler’s Diarrhea – In some cases

It works by stopping bacterial growth.

• Nausea, vomiting
• Diarrhea or stomach pain
• Headache
• Loss of appetite

Serious Side Effects (Seek Medical Help if Occurs):

• Severe diarrhea (watery or bloody stools)
• Liver problems (yellow skin/eyes, dark urine)
• Irregular heartbeat or chest pain
• Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty)

Precautions:

• Take on an Empty Stomach (if tolerated)

  • Food may reduce absorption, but take with food if stomach upset occurs.

• Avoid Antacids with Aluminum/Magnesium

  • Can reduce absorption; take Azipos 2 hours before or after antacids.
