Used for:

  1. Respiratory Conditions: Asset 25mg tablet is primarily used to treat respiratory conditions associated with thick and sticky mucus, such as chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, and cystic fibrosis.
  2. Paracetamol Overdose: It's also used as an antidote for paracetamol (acetaminophen) overdose to prevent liver damage.
