Used For:

 Afoxin 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic commonly used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. These may include respiratory tract infections (such as bronchitis or pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin infections, and sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhea. It belongs to the fluoroquinolone class of antibiotics and works by inhibiting bacterial DNA synthesis, thereby killing the bacteria.

Side Effects:

Common side effects of Afoxin may include nausea, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, and abdominal pain. Some patients might experience allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or swelling. In rare cases, more serious side effects can occur, including tendon rupture, nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy), mood changes, or severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis).
