Used For:

Afinitor (Everolimus) 10mg is used to treat various types of cancer and other conditions. It is commonly prescribed for:

• Advanced renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer)
• Hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer in postmenopausal women
• Subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (a type of brain tumor) associated with tuberous sclerosis complex
• Neuroendocrine tumors of pancreatic origin

Afinitor works by inhibiting the mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) pathway, which helps to slow the growth and spread of cancer cells.
