Used For:

• Post-Angioplasty or Stent Placement: It’s often prescribed after angioplasty or stent procedures to prevent clot formation in stents.

Side Effects:

• Common Side Effects: These include stomach upset, heartburn, easy bruising, and minor bleeding (like nosebleeds).
• Serious Side Effects: There is a risk of severe bleeding, gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and in rare cases, a condition called thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), which is characterized by the formation of small clots.
