Used For

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Helps relieve heartburn and other symptoms associated with GERD.
  • Erosive Esophagitis: Promotes healing of the esophagus caused by acid reflux.
  • Stomach Ulcers: Aids in the healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers and helps prevent their recurrence.
  • Helicobacter pylori Eradication: Used in combination with antibiotics to eliminate H. pylori bacteria, which can cause stomach ulcers.
  • Prevention of NSAID-Induced Ulcers: Protects against ulcers in patients taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) long-term.

Side Effects
