Used For:

  • Fungal infections (ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch)

  • Bacterial skin infections (infected eczema, minor cuts)

  • Reducing inflammation & itching (steroid action)

Side Effects:

  • Thinning of skin (with prolonged steroid use)

  • Burning/stinging (initial application on broken skin)

  • Allergic reactions (rash, swelling—discontinue if occurs)

Precautions:

  1. Apply thinly 2x daily for max 2 weeks (steroid limit).

  2. Avoid on face/groin unless prescribed (skin is thinner there).

  3. Do not cover with bandages (occlusion increases side effects).
